Fellow St. James Parishioners,
Knights of Columbus Elizabethtown Council 1455 is participating in the Knights of Columbus Ultrasound Program to purchase an ultrasound machine for Clarity Solutions in Elizabethtown. One of their current ultrasound machines is over 8 years old and is no longer capable of providing the full range of images necessary for the care of pregnant mothers. Our goal is to raise $20,000 by Halloween, we have already received commitments for over a quarter of our goal.
Clarity Solutions Pregnancy Center is a compassionate, life-affirming organization dedicated to supporting women and families facing unexpected pregnancies. They provide confidential counseling, medical services, and practical support, helping individuals make informed decisions about their futures. Through their services, they empower women to choose life, offering guidance, care, and education every step of the way.
Ultrasounds at Clarity play a vital role in providing an expectant mother with the first view of her child and have been instrumental in saving over 500 children from abortion in the last 2 years. Ultrasounds are instrumental in confirming pregnancy and making sure the pregnancy is viable and is not an ectopic pregnancy. Clarity provides these services to all of Hardin County and the surrounding counties free of charge.
To donate towards the Ultrasound, you have 3 options.
- Mail a check made out to Knights of Columbus Council 1455, put “Clarity – Ultrasound” in the Memo line. Mail to: Knights of Columbus, PO Box 494, Elizabethtown, KY 42702-0494
- Drop a check at a Council meeting or at Coffee and Doughnuts after St. James Church 8am and 10am Masses on 5 Oct or 2 Nov.
